About Us

OpenDH is a research lab at the University of Calgary comprised of an interdisciplinary team of researchers, students, and healthcare professionals across Canada. At OpenDH, we believe in human-AI co-creation. It's not about AI replacing humans, but developing a partnership combining human creativity and intuition with the raw processing power of AI.

At OpenDH, we are focused on leveraging the potential of AI and wearable technology in multiple areas: administration, research, training, and clinical services.

By delving into the intersection between these distinct areas, we aim to develop the next generation of healthcare leaders who embrace the power of technology to improve patient care.
